Corned beef bites & Malbec, St. Patty’s Day Menu

This 2016 Malbec comes to us from Mendoza, Argentina. While Malbec was traditionally a grape from southern France, it flourished when it found a new home in Argentina. The result is a flavorful, versatile wine that pairs well with many types of cuisine like pasta, steak or duck.

Because Malbec has softer tannins than some of its red counterparts, it is a perfect match for your next dinner party as it lends its flavor to each different dish and course.

The horseradish and corned beef combination in this recipe make it the perfect addition to any St. Patty’s Day event menu, and doesn’t take much prep time at all!

I can’t wait to enjoy this pairings this weekend for St. Patty’s Day, it definitely will be a fun twist on our traditional Corned Beef! Do you have any St. Patrick’s Day traditions? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!

Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 12 small red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and chives if desired.

  • Those look delish! My hubby’s birthday is on St. Patty’s and we are planning on hosting friends. We will be serving corned beef and I am in charge of the potato dish. I may have to give these a go!
